House Legends Musclecars and DJ Heather Headline Public Disco's Summer Block Party in Vancouver on July 18

Vancouver, B.C. – Public Disco is celebrating 10 years of transforming urban spaces into dance floors with a Block Party at the City Centre Artist Lodge in Mount Pleasant on Saturday, July 18. The iconic venue occupies the former City Centre Motor Hotel, where murals envelop surrounding buildings and the parking lot beneath the dance floor. The 19+ ticketed event runs from 4pm to 10pm and features acclaimed international house artists Musclecars (New York City) and DJ Heather (Chicago), alongside local DJs Luke McKeehan and Lerma. Tier 3 tickets are on sale now at publicdisco.ca.

"This year's lineup brings together artists who have had a lasting impact on house and dance music while continuing our commitment to showcasing incredible local talent," says Nickolas Collinet, Executive Director of Public Disco Society. "As we celebrate our 10th anniversary, we're excited to welcome attendees for a day-to-night party where people can dance, enjoy the unique setting and support our organization by shopping limited-edition 10-Year merch from the Public Disco Pop-Up Shop."

The Public Disco Block Party returns to the City Centre Artist Lodge with a lineup that brings together internationally celebrated house artists and local talent curated by SLAB Events. Headliners Musclecars, the New York duo known for their soulful and eclectic approach to dance music, will make a rare Vancouver appearance alongside Chicago house pioneer DJ Heather. They are joined by Vancouver's Luke McKeehan, founder of well known house music label, Nordic Trax and local favourite, Lerma for a full day of underground electronic music.

"SLAB is excited to team up with Public Disco again, this time bringing Musclecars and DJ Heather to the City Centre Artist Lodge," says Max Ulis, founder and producer of SLAB Events. "We're looking forward to a day of house music from some of the most respected names in the genre, alongside a strong lineup of local talent."
