Public Disco and the Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival return to Downtown with a one-day spring block party.
This year expands beyond the Dunsmuir Patio with a full street closure, doubling capacity and creating more room to gather, move, and welcome the season together, just steps from the blossoms at Burrard SkyTrain Station.
MUSIC ARTISTS:
MUSIC Curation:
WAX & FLOWER, a vinyl-only, all-femme lineup curated by Kozue.
Inspired by spring’s impermanence, the music unfolds naturally like petals opening on the dance floor. Deep and eclectic selections move through house, deep house, disco, soul, boogie, slow jams, and beyond. All guided by hands on wax.
Kozue is a Canadian based DJ who was born and raised in Japan. Her DJ style specializing in house, deep house, techno, and disco brings a positive and memorable experience to her audience through an expansive journey that touches across her unique selections of organic, electronic and eclectic sounds.
THE VENUE
A sunken downtown plaza tucked beneath the towers of Bentall Centre, layered terraces, wood seating, gardens, and mood lights transforming the city core into an open-air dance floor, with Dunsmuir Street between Burrard and Melville closed to traffic for the day to double the 2025 site footprint.

Public Disco Society acknowledges that our events take place on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations. We honour the Indigenous peoples who have stewarded these lands for generations and continue to do so today. We recognize that the public spaces where we gather are situated on stolen land, and we commit to operating with care, respect, and responsibility.
